From the stagnation of the road monopoly and the combined traffic problems described above it is possible to objectively observe the steps necessary to combat them and to consequentially make use of the possible advantages and opportunities of both carriers while offering an environmentally friendly and competitive alternative.

The Parcel Intercity in Germany and the Post TGV in France are developed to a stage somewhere between KV and KEPTrain.
